Seasonal Transitions
Transitions are not easy for me especially the one that takes us from the beautiful days of summer into the cooler days of fall and then into the horrible, deep-freeze that is our Minnesota winter. Yuck! But I am getting too far ahead of myself–just the mere mention of our never-ending winter sends a shiver down my spine. Let’s get back on track though, shall we? Fall is but a month away but in most areas, the cooler weather comes on slowly allowing for many more weeks of open-toed shoes and cutout booties. I love how I can start wearing some of these booties early in the season without looking as though I have jumped right into winter boots. All three of my picks happen to be Vince Camuto and they are definitely going to be added to my wishlist for fall.  Imagine the open-weave stilettos with your favorite skinny jeans or the open-toe fringe booties with a midi-skirt which is such an on trend look for fall. Maybe some transitions are not that band after all. Please leave a comment and let me know which items are on your fall wishlist!

Wear Now and Later
I love being able to buy something now and be able to change it up a little and wear it come springtime.  Be it a skirt, pants or a dress, switching out boots for sandals or a sweater for a cropped top extends your wardrobe and solves the ‘I have nothing to wear’ issue in an instant.  The same midi skirt from Nordstrom can be transformed from a winter work outfit with that awesome coral cowl neck sweater and black booties to a sexy Friday night date night in the spring one by swapping out the sweater for the cropped top or peplum tank and adding those sexy pumps and some funky jewelry from MetalMarvels.  One skirt can transcend the seasons and go from work to play seemingly without effort.  Options, they’re a good thing!
Today I am linking up for Random Wednesday. Check it out!
Untitled #4
This spring is all about the swing!  One of the hottest trends for Spring 2015 is fringe which we are seeing everywhere from shoes to clothing to handbags.  Fringe embellishment immediately gives an item movement and fluidity.  Let’s face it, fringe is just plain fun; it also empowers the wearer with confidence.  Go ahead and try on a dress or skirt adored with long, swingy fringe and then tell me if you can walk without a spring in your step.  Bet you can’t!  Fringe makes you want to sashay into a room; heck, you need to walk in like you own the place.  It is a powerful feeling.  Not ready to embrace the trend completely yet?  Then, try it in small doses on shoes and handbags but, whatever you do, try it!
