I don’t know about you but I am obsessed with New York Fashion Week (NYFW) and I cannot wait to check out my Instagram feed to see all the gorgeous photos posted by the fashion bloggers I follow. It is almost like being there only minus the excitement, dinners and the experience of shopping in NY. Okay, so basically checking out my feed is an exercise in masochism, but I love it anyway. Although seeing all the fabulous Fall trends makes me anxious to wear them now, let’s focus on the warm weather heading our way (hopefully, sooner rather than later).
Two of my favorite trends for Spring 2015 are the more grown-up gingham fabric, showing up in sophisticated styles and colors and the colored suede pieces hitting the stores right now. Gingham is not just for children anymore with the print being used in gorgeous flowing skirts and sexy cropped tops and shorts in cool neutral colors as well as pretty and feminine pastels. Likewise, the new colored suede can range in tone from lights to brights and everything in between. From dresses to shorts and pants, soft supple suede items in feminine silhouettes look fresh and modern and make a wonderful addition to your spring wardrobe.
